Memory:

Going to Coronado "away" football game and borrowing Joe Macias' car (Gayle was with us). On the return trip home along the strand, the hood of the car flipped up and we ended up stuck in the sand. The highway patrol pulled up about the same time the football bus was going by with all of the players faces pressed against the windows (including Joe's).... As the tow truck towed Joe's car, Karen talked the highway patrol into taking us back to Castle Park and as they delivered us to the gym they were flashing their lights   Patty

The time Jack Shaw threw a burning paper airplane which landed on Mr. Buracks desk in shop drawing. Mr Burack threw it in the trash can where it caught the trash on fire. He had to drag the burning can outside. Also, the time it snowed also during Mr Buracks class and he let us out to "romp" in the snow.    Tony

Mrs.Barbara Clark who always encouraged
my creative writing. I have had several stories printed in local newletters as well as one paid article printed in the San Diego Union some years back.  Tony Castro

Going to the football games when when we won CIF. Being in the band. Greg Jones. One evening after band practice a bunch of us when to the Paris Pussycat to watch the movies. Also after an evening of band practice a bunch of us went to the SD Country Club and had golf cart races around the course. The next day on the way to school we saw a golf cart parked on the side of the road by Hilltop Drive and Main Street. Mr Beasley let us go outside to catch snowflakes on a cold winter day. Mr Cox laughing. Going with a bunch of guys to the drive-in dairy by the Sweetwater River and ordering six different flavored popsicles from Mr Mueller (a teacher that worked there part time after school) Nancy Sass, the cute young first year teacher we (Robert Wetzel, Bob Potter, Dominic Enjambre, Maria Cazarez, Beth Wells, Mary Lou Gutierrez) we had for Adaptive PE because we all had some sort of physical limitations. Things I'm sorry for WoodShop(Mr.Kruse), I started that fire, in the trashcan at the back of the classroom, on my way out the door with a hallpass. So being praised for putting it out on my way back into class really wasn't warranted. I am truly sorry.

2009-10-13 06:37 Stowing away to get into the drive-in in Steve Domasig's green Chevy. With Bonnie Yoder, Phyllis, and can't remember who else. At either the Big Sky or the drive-in in Kearney Mesa.

2009-10-16 21:51 I remember taking the green flags from the SD Country Club and the greens keeper would chase us in his cart. We did this at night and he would turn the sprinklers on us. Later we made friends with him and took the flags back. I will cop to this and not mention names. Steve Reay. Mr. Cox and Mr. Dayton, These guys were tough on me but really kept me from going over the edge at times. Truly great people. One thing I don't get is don't you women remember Ernie Muellers rule 13.
